New! Be Part of the Launch

Everyone knows that Brew on Premise is a great way to stock your Wine Cellar with your Favourite Wines and Brews without breaking the bank – but ever wish you could try new wine kit flavours without committing to a full batch (30 bottles)?

You’re not alone!

Some of our customers love the idea of exploring different wines and have suggested splitting kits with other wine enthusiasts – but they don’t know who to talk to or how to organize such a thing. That’s where P & J’s Wine Share Club comes in!

With the Club, you can purchase just one share – 6 bottles – of current wine kits on our list. Simply pick your favorite kit (or kits) that you are interested in from the form below, prepay your selections, and P & J will contact you when your kit(s) are being fermented with the details.

The Club is a great way to discover your likes and dislikes without having to commit to 30 bottles of one style. And, when you find your favorites, you can always brew full batches on your own through Village Craft Winemaker’s Brew on Premise Services.

Why Join our Wine Share Club?

  1. Explore More Wines
  2. Try different styles, grape varietals, and regions-without having to stock up on full batches.
  3. Perfect Quantity
  4. One share is just 6 bottles (out of a standard 30-bottle batch/kit). Pick as many shares from as many kits as you like (minimum 1 share per kit).
  5. All the Perks, None of the Hassle
  6. P & J take care of all the brewing and bottling. You just complete the Release Form, Prepay your Order, and Pick Up the finished product at Village Craft Winemaker (Calgary) in about 30 - 45 days from the scheduled brewing date, and enjoy!
  7. Quality Kits, Expert Care
  8. This isn’t "Uncle Charlie's Home-Made Cough Syrup Brew!"
VCW guarantees all wines are made using Quality RJ Spagnols wine kits and the award-winning UWinemaker Fermentation System (90+ 5-Star Reviews to date) - so Club Members get superior quality, crystal clear wine - that rival even store-bought quality - every time.
Only new bottles and supplies, provided by VCW, are used for each Club Batch to ensure cleanliness and best results.
  9. Great Value / Save Money
  10. Enjoy commercial quality craft wine for a fraction of the store-bought prices, and now, with the Club, you can get similar (bulk) pricing for smaller order commitments.

The UBrew / UWinemaker Advantage

UWinemaker: P & J’s Wine Share Club has partnered with Village Craft Winemaker in Calgary as their Brew on Premise (UBrew) of choice. VCW is the only BOP to use the innovative UWinemaker Fermenting System – a breakthrough method that creates award-winning results and higher-quality wine than the old-fashioned pail-and-carboy method (23+ medals won at international winemaking competitions, to date).

Brew on Premise: BOP / Ubrew lets customers ferment their favourite wine kit(s) – each yielding 30 bottle yield – at an on-site retail location. This means no heavy lifting, no mess, no fuss, and no need for extra space at home. Plus, you’ll enjoy significant savings compared to buying similar-quality wines at retail.

Testimonials:

The UWinemaker system provides a completely different and better taste than the days of glass carboys and plastic buckets. The process of making the wine is far easier and the quality is much better.

Nick H.

I truly should’ve been doing this many years ago. The wines that they have helped me produce are just incredible. My friends are just blown away when they taste my homemade wine from them. […] I highly recommend Village Craft Wine Makers.

The Uwinemaker product has truly transformed my winemaking experience, and I can’t recommend it enough. Over the last eight years, I’ve participated in numerous winemaking competitions and proudly secured 15 medals, with my standout achievement being a Gold medal awarded for a wine crafted using the Uwinemaker.

How Does the Club Work?

P & J are your designated Kit Hosts/Sponsors. They’ll take care of the in-store steps for you – pouring the yeast and bottling – while VCW’s on-site sommelier and expert staff handle the rest, fermenting your kit(s) to perfection.

Here's all you need to do:

  1. Choose Your Kit(s):
  2. Purchase share(s) in the wine kit(s) you are interested in using our Kit Form below.
  3. Wait for Confirmation:
  4. When enough members have chosen the same kit to complete a batch, P & J will contact you to confirm your order.
    • Fill out our quick Release/Permission Form.
    • Prepay for your share(s).
  5. Brewing and Updates:
  6. Once all shares for a kit have been confirmed, VCW will begin brewing. P & J will keep you updated by email with the expected order completion date (usually 30-45 days after the brew date).
  7. Pick up your Order:
  8. Once your order is ready, simply come in to collect your bottles - and enjoy!

Share Guidelines

You can purchase:

  1. One share (6 bottles) from a single kit.
  2. Multiple shares from the same kit if you'd like more bottles of that varietal.
  3. Shares from multiple kits to enjoy more variety.

You never have to purchase shares from every kit – just the ones you want. Minimum purchase is 1 share in any kit you wish to order.
Each share includes 6 bottles, all supplies (new bottles, corks, labels, etc).
No hidden fees – just great wine!

Order Guidelines

  1. You are not committed to an order until you have signed the Release Form and prepaid for your share(s).
  2. Shares are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. They are not held until both the Release Form and payment are received.
  3. For kits where demand is high and all shares have been sold, additional kits may be added to meet member interest.

This Months Kits for the Share Club

October Batches, include kits from RJ Spagnols and WineXpert.

RJ Spagnols Wine Kits
RJ Spagnols (RJS Craft Winemaking) provides a diverse range of wine kits designed to suit enthusiasts from novice to advanced. Their lineup includes tiers such as Cru International, Cru Select, En Primeur, Heritage Estates, and RQ (Restricted Quantity), each reflecting different levels of quality, aging potential, and grape sourcing. These kits arrive ready with grape must, yeast, nutrients, oak, and finishing components – the basics are covered so you can focus on the craft. RJS sources grapes and juice from quality vineyards worldwide, offering varietals from reds like Cabernet, Zinfandel, and Shiraz to whites like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and even rosés and dessert wines. Each kit comes with instructions to guide you through the fermentation, stabilization, and clarifying steps. With these, you build your own cellar over time, experimenting with styles and discovering your palate.

WineXpert Wine Kits
WineXpert is a premium brand known for professional-style wine kits that deliver high-quality, consistent results. Their product lines span Classic, Reserve, Private Reserve, Limited Editions (LE), Après dessert wines, and specialty crossover kits. Each kit is engineered to include the grape base (juice concentrate or must), yeast, nutrients, oak elements, stabilizers, and clarifying agents – everything needed to ferment, age, and bottle. Their reputation is built on making winemaking accessible: even beginners can follow the detailed instructions and produce wines competitive in taste and complexity. Kits generally yield around 30 bottles and follow timelines of 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the style. Winexpert’s LE and Private Reserve kits venture into rarer varietals and blends, offering adventurous home vintners a chance to craft wines that stand out.
