DESCRIPTION:Zinfandel is synonymous with California however it was discovered that it is related to the Italian Primitivo and actually comes from Croatia.   Zinfandel produces full-bodied\, robust red wines with some of the highest Alcohol content. \nLodi\, in Central California\, is known to have some of the country’s oldest Zinfandel vines\, some of which are more than 100 years old. \nWe have a Cru INternational Zinfandel and En Premeur Italian Zinfandel plus a Winepert Private Reserve Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel. 15% off\, cannot be combined with other offers. DESCRIPTION:Carménère Day. November 24  to commemorate its rediscovery in Chile 24 years ago \nCarménère was first brought to Chile in the mid 1800s and was thought to be Merlot until 1994. The leaves look very similar to Merlot and the vines were intermingled. The root stocks are the original from over 100 years ago. \nThis opulent and rich wine; Carménère boasts the luscious flavours of red cherries and berries\, with hints of spice and leather enhanced with robust tannins.  En Primeur kit with 2.5 lbs of Grape skins makes for an exceptional wine.  Your Chile Carmenère kit will make a wine that is deep red in colour and has flavours of cherries\, blackberries\, spice and enhanced with leather and robust tannins.  Enjoy it with all kinds of meat dishes from burgers and steaks to hearty stews. \nCarménère is originally from France.
