DESCRIPTION:Cabernet Franc day December 4\, 2025\, which is one of the wine world’s most important\, yet often understated\, red grape varieties.Today\, Cabernet Franc is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world \nIt all began in southwest France sometime in the 17th century with Cardinal Richelieu’s love for a particular blue-black grape. He loved them so much that he transported vine cuttings from Bordeaux to the Loire Valley. The berry has been growing and thriving there ever since. \nToday\, Cabernet Franc is one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. It is a blending wine in French wines. Most famous blends are Saint Emilion and Pomerol. \nLuxurious\, food-friendly acidic flavours of cherries\, blackberries and plums combined with toasty nutmeg and vanilla spices\, bring this medium-bodied wine to life \nCab Franc is also the parent of Cabernet Sauvignon \nOn the palate\, it unveils a round mouth feel with the bold tannins  for a remarkably supported finish. \nCabernet Franc is the parent of Cabernet Sauvignon\, Merlot and Carmenere.

DESCRIPTION:Carménère Day. November 24  to commemorate its rediscovery in Chile 24 years ago \nCarménère was first brought to Chile in the mid 1800s and was thought to be Merlot until 1994. The leaves look very similar to Merlot and the vines were intermingled. The root stocks are the original from over 100 years ago. \nThis opulent and rich wine; Carménère boasts the luscious flavours of red cherries and berries\, with hints of spice and leather enhanced with robust tannins.  En Primeur kit with 2.5 lbs of Grape skins makes for an exceptional wine.  Your Chile Carmenère kit will make a wine that is deep red in colour and has flavours of cherries\, blackberries\, spice and enhanced with leather and robust tannins.  Enjoy it with all kinds of meat dishes from burgers and steaks to hearty stews. \nCarménère is originally from France.
